She Said With Love
Welcome to my wonderland of tea, tunes, tarot, travel, and whatever the hell else I want!
Happy Full Moon in Aries,
Surprise! I’m finally getting this thing up and running!
For those who might not know, which would entail the overwhelming majority of humans on this planet, I am riddled with thoughts, curiosity, and the desire to share. Quippy internet speak via social media, while clever and great for a laugh, can’t quench my thirst for a moderate vocabulary flex to thoroughly flesh out an idea or a quandary. I’m hoping that by committing to Substack I might find some satiety in this department.
I plan to share musings roughly twice a week on esotericism, philosophy, culture (pop and otherwise), the occult, politics, tarot, astrology, reiki, art, music I’m obsessing over, patriarchy, and of course, questionable poetry. I also intend to use this space as something of a travel journal. Nothing lights me up more than getting lost in unfamiliar places and seeing what the hell I can get myself both into and out of.
If Im being totally transparent, I believe each of us has a unique energetic signature and I aim to foster a space where that uniqueness is exposed, encouraged, and emboldened to radiate even further out into the world. [Expect to see a share on uniqueness vs. individuality forthcoming]. Each of us has an authentic role to play in this universal landscape, and I hope to see more and more of those roles come out to play as the years pass. We shouldn’t all agree on everything. Boring. Each of us should be able to express ourselves in the way that feels aligned, and nobody should feel threatened by an individual’s rare spark. I’m hoping that in doing what feels authentic and aligned for me, it might catch on and assist in unburdening someone else who feels trapped by societal-expectation-nonsense. With any luck, more than one someone.

I do have some stretch goals in mind for where this might go, including a bi-monthly Salon meet-up, for more personal interaction and idea-sharing, as well as some tarot events. As these ideas get better fleshed out and I can schedule them, I’ll be sure to share details. For now, I want to leave you all with a big fat virtual hug. Thank you for making it this far. If you’ve come over from my old website (“She’s Electric”) I appreciate your patience during the changeover and I will also understand if you decide to unsubscribe. (Sidenote: Wild that I shut down, “www.shes-electric.com”, and Oasis came back, eh? You’re welcome? Maybe? lol). Thank you from the bottom of this gushing heart.
Now, go. Love.
**For those unfamiliar with Salon culture. Throughout the course of human history salon’s have been popular as think spaces. A salon can be described as a marketplaces of ideas, if you will, for people to come together and explore all sorts of movements, culture, inventions, theories, current events, philosophy, art, politics, music, etc., and I hope to keep this tradition alive. We must prioritize speaking to one another in real life, in real time, and bring ideas to the table - no matter how left field they might seem - .if we wish to make any progress.
YAAASSSSSS QUEEN!!!!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
